Accruent was not known or understood in the industry despite their strong portfolio of real estate software and services. Their offerings were so complex and diverse that the press, customers and even some employees had a hard time articulating what the company did. They needed to convey global leadership in order to cross sell, develop new business relationships and accelerate growth.
We conducted customer and prospect research, then worked with top executives to reshape the overall Accruent messages to be simple and understandable. Then, we created strategies to reach the audiences Accruent wanted to impress by customer, segment and solution. We developed stories about Accruent’s services in physical resource management software, and promoted them to targeted editors.
As Accruent’s reputation soared, in the summer of 2018, they announced that they were being acquired by Fortis for $2 Billion.
